What got you into fitness? I've always been into fitness ever since I was a teenager. I played and coached volleyball for several years. During my last year of college, I stopped playing and that's when I started powerlifting.

What’s your go-to pump up song at the gym? Anything R&B and/or Rap that gets me in the zone.

What are three interesting facts about you? 1.) I was born in the Philippines, 2.) I moved a lot when I was a kid and never really stayed in one place for more than a year and a half until my high school years, and 3.) I have a major sweet tooth.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? The craziest thing I've ever done was probably go canoeing with alligators.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? "Every time you quit, you disrespect everyone who believes in you."

What is one thing you’ve always wanted to try? I have always wanted to try bodybuilding. Maybe in the near future?

What is your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you? My greatest achievement is being the first person in my family to graduate college and earn a Bachelor's degree. It has brought me a step closer to achieving my lifetime goals.

If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be? If I could master one skill, it would be to not fear failure.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it? If I could have one superpower, it would be to be able to fly. I would be able to go wherever I want at no cost and I would never have to sit in traffic.

Athletes' Nutrition has helped me stay on top of taking care of my health and nutrition by providing a great variety of supplements. My main source of motivation is my strive to always be better than the person I was yesterday.
